Reunion 2017 Summary

It was all about Power, Love and Sound Mind during the last ECU Reunion which held from 20th to 22nd of October, 2017.

It started with a courtesy visit to the Vice Chancellor – Prof Eyitope Ogunbodede who gave an audience and shared his plans for the school. He also received a small gift from the Alumni.

The reunion had in attendance alumni members from far and wide with ministrations from ministers like Evangelist Banji Adesanmi who talked on the theme – ‘Power, Love and Sound Mind’, Mummy Kemi Ijagbulu on ‘Marriage’, Dr Tope Oni on ‘Effective parenting in these perilous time’, Bishop Ayo Odunayo on ‘Raising faithful generation’ and finally Barine Gbosi who coordinated the discuss on National issues.

Another point of reference during the reunion was the discussion on the Empowerment centre by the new Alumni President – Bro Austin Awulonu. The allocation of land for the project given by the school authority is under threat as there is a risk of losing the land if building is not done within a year. It was mentioned that the foundation will cost about N2m and members were encouraged to make pledges to support the achievement of that as soon as possible.
